What's On

A day packed with aviation and motoring

A Full Day Out

Wings & Wheels brings together the best of aviation and motoring in the heart of the Lincolnshire Fens. From the moment the gates open at 10am until close at 4pm, there's something for everyone — whether you're an aviation enthusiast, a petrolhead, or just looking for a great family day out.

Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Fly-past

The Royal Air Force supported Wings & Wheels 2026 with a fly-past by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF), and the aircraft they sent was the Hawker Hurricane. It came over the airfield on the Sunday afternoon and stopped the whole showground in its tracks.

The BBMF keeps its fleet of World War Two aircraft in flying condition as a living tribute to all those who have lost their lives serving with the RAF — its motto, Lest We Forget, says it all. Seeing these irreplaceable aircraft over the Fens is a moment not to be missed.

Please note: fly-pasts are always subject to weather and aircraft serviceability, and can be cancelled at short notice.

Supermarine Spitfire

The most famous fighter of them all — the BBMF flies five, including the only airworthy Spitfire to have fought in the Battle of Britain.

Hawker Hurricane

The workhorse of the Battle of Britain. The BBMF's pair includes the very last Hurricane ever built, 'The Last of the Many'.
