Register your interestThe showground is an open, working airfield. The public areas are level grass, with hardstanding at the hangar frontage. The grass is generally firm, but it can soften after heavy rain — if you use a wheelchair or mobility scooter, please bear this in mind when planning your visit.
If you have specific access requirements, please contact us before the event so we can help you plan your day.
Fenland Airfield is an open, exposed site with very little natural shade or shelter — it's flat Fenland countryside, so you'll feel both the sun and the wind.
Please check the forecast and dress for the conditions. Flying activities and the fly-past always depend on the weather, and in extreme conditions some parts of the event may not be able to go ahead.
Fenland Airfield is a working airfield. Entry to Wings & Wheels is on the following conditions, which apply to everyone on site:
Anyone who does not observe these conditions may be asked to leave the site.
You're very welcome to take photographs and video for your own personal use — it's an event made for it.
Please note that photographs and video may also be taken at the event by Fenland Aero Club and by photographers working on our behalf, and these images may be used to promote the club and future events, including on this website, in print and on social media.
If you would prefer not to appear in our promotional images, please speak to a steward on the day or contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you. If an image of you or your child has already been published and you would like it removed, let us know and we will take it down.
If there's something you need to know before you visit — access requirements, bringing a group, or anything else — we're happy to help.
