Planning Your Visit
Wings & Wheels 2026 takes place on Sunday 30th August 2026 at Fenland Airfield, Spalding, Lincolnshire, PE12 8RQ. Gates open at 10am and the event closes at 4pm.

Admission
Adults £7, children aged 5–15 £3, under 5s free. Tickets are bought at the entrance on the day — card payments accepted. Parking is free.

Exhibitor entry is free and arrival is from 9am, before the public gates open. Vehicles must be in place and parked up before 10am. Registrations for 2026 are closed — register your interest and we'll be in touch when spaces open for next time.
Register your interestAccess & Getting Around
The showground is an open, working airfield. The public areas are level grass, with hardstanding at the hangar frontage. The grass is generally firm, but it can soften after heavy rain — if you use a wheelchair or mobility scooter, please bear this in mind when planning your visit.
- Accessible parking — dedicated spaces near the entrance, close to the main showground. Follow the signs and our marshals will direct you.
- Accessible toilets — available on site alongside the general facilities.
- Quiet space — a quiet space away from the crowds and the noise of the flightline is available on request. Ask a steward on the day, or let us know in advance and we'll have it ready for you.
- Seating — seating is limited, so you're welcome to bring your own folding chairs.

What to Wear
Fenland Airfield is an open, exposed site with very little natural shade or shelter — it's flat Fenland countryside, so you'll feel both the sun and the wind.
- Footwear — flat, sturdy, closed-toe shoes. The showground is grass and can be uneven, rutted or muddy underfoot, particularly after rain.
- Sun — sun cream, a hat and water if it's warm. There is very little shade on the showground.
- Wind and rain — a windproof or waterproof layer. It can be noticeably breezier on the airfield than at home, even on a fine day.
Please check the forecast and dress for the conditions. Flying activities and the fly-past always depend on the weather, and in extreme conditions some parts of the event may not be able to go ahead.
Conditions of Entry
Fenland Airfield is a working airfield. Entry to Wings & Wheels is on the following conditions, which apply to everyone on site:
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and remain the responsibility of that adult throughout the event.
- Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome — please clean up after your pet. Water bowls are available near the food area.
- There is no public access airside. The runway, taxiways and aircraft movement areas are closed to the public. Please stay behind the barriers and within the marked public areas at all times.
- Please follow the directions of our marshals and stewards — they are there to keep everyone safe around moving aircraft and vehicles.
Anyone who does not observe these conditions may be asked to leave the site.
Photography
You're very welcome to take photographs and video for your own personal use — it's an event made for it.
Please note that photographs and video may also be taken at the event by Fenland Aero Club and by photographers working on our behalf, and these images may be used to promote the club and future events, including on this website, in print and on social media.
If you would prefer not to appear in our promotional images, please speak to a steward on the day or contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you. If an image of you or your child has already been published and you would like it removed, let us know and we will take it down.
